RECYCLING CENTER

From the Issue:
December 2009
When you replace fluorescent lamps be sure to turn in the burnt-out lamps at the Recycling Center.  Dead fluorescents must not be thrown in the trash disposal dumpster.  These lamps contain mercury which must not be directed to the landfill.  The Recycling Center will dispose of your lamps responsibly.

The Recycling Center and Transfer Station will be closed Friday, Christmas day.  We will be open for business as usual regular hours on Saturday, December 26.  On that day you may dispose of Christmas wrapping paper directly in the disposal dumpster without the use of official Troy disposal bags.
