Our Fall Book Sale is on Friday and Saturday, October 7th and 8th at the Library.  Preview sale hours are Friday evening from 6-8 PM and admission is $3.  Saturday hours are 9 AM - 2 PM with no admission charge.  For more information call us.

Food for Fines @ the Library from October  11th to 18th    1 donated item = $1  Donate a food item and have a dollar taken off your fines.  You can do this for up to $5 worth of fines.  Only good for fines not lost or damaged items.  Per the rules of the NH Food Bank, we are unable to accept open packages, homemade items, perishable foods, or items with expired dates.

Story Time!   We have our story time schedule for the entire year and part of next so mark your calendars!  They will on be on Thursdays at 4:15p and usually have a holiday theme.  2011: 10/27, 11/17, 12/15 AND 2012: 1/26, 2/9, 3/8, 4/19, 5/10

Have your children outgrown their Legos??  The Library would be happy to take them off your hands to use for our very successful Lego Block Party events.

Soon you’ll be able to use your Kindle to download FREE e-books from our NH Downloadable Book Collection.  I’ll post the start date on our website when it’s announced. 

Have story time at home with Tumble Books!  No need to leave the house!! (but you will probably want to because of all the cool stuff  we have!)  This online collection for children of animated talking picture books plus puzzles and games can be accessed from our website .  www.troylibrary.us  Funded by the Keene & Elm City Rotary Club Success by 6 Committee.

Hold your public meeting at the Library!  We have a fabulous and free meeting room that’s heated in the winter and kinda cool in the summer.  It’s good enough for the Budget Committee AND the American Legion plus many others!  Call us soon to schedule a date. 

The Library Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, October 6th at 7:00PM at the Library.   The public is welcome to join     us to discuss the rising cost of oil.

Our hours are Tuesday 10:30AM – 7:30PM, Wednesday & Thursday 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM, Saturday 10 AM – 3 PM.  Ask for a super cool magnet with our hours and get one FREE.  Come on down and see your tax dollars at work!!
