SURELL would like to thank everyone involved in making their first charity fashion show a success. The overall goal of the event was to raise money for “The Helping Hand Center” in Troy. “Helping Hand’s” mission is to supply food to families in need. The number of families that apply for assistance from “Helping Hand” is growing quite considerably, which makes it ever so crucial that community donates any extras.

The fashion show was held January 21, at the Dragon Palace Restaurant. The weather was not cooperative that day. There was about four inches of snow that had fallen that morning, which made a messy commute. Organizers of the show were worried that attendance would be down and that the models/hair and makeup people would not make it to the show due to the weather conditions. However, that is contrary to what happened. The Dragon Palace was packed and the models looked fabulous! Most importantly a noble amount of money was raises for “Helping Hand.”

This event could not have been successful without the help of everyone involved! Special thanks to:

Dragon Palace; Ed’s Crossroads; Panache Hair Design; Dawn Lagace & the students from the cosmetology department of the Cheshire Career; The Cheshire Career Center video production class; Lucy from Lola’s; Heidi Scott Cloud Nine NH; CJ the DJ; Murray Furs; Surell Accessories; The Helping Hand Center; Joan Geary from the Keene Sentinel; Fitzwilliam & Troy newsletters, All the models and their families; Everyone that donated and attended the event.
