If you listen carefully you can hear the excitement brewing in the halls of Troy School.

On Thursday, December 1st the PTO is holding a Gamewright Game Night from 6-7 PM.  Games from Gamewright will be available for playing and ordering.  Rumor has it that a big, jolly man in a red suit will be hanging about the Town common on Sunday December 4th.  Students are encouraged to bring canned goods or non-perishable food items to donate to Helping Hand enjoy a bonfire and sing Christmas Carols while they wait for his big arrival.  Thanks to the PTO for coordinating this event with the town.  Monday, December 5th is our next early release day.  MRMS-MRHS students will be dismissed at 11:30 and Troy School students will be dismissed at 12:30.

On Thursday, December 8th the MRSD-BASP will be holding a Craft Fair from 6 - 8 PM.  Tables are available to crafters for $10.  For more information please contact Jean Isgro at 242-7741x232.  On Monday, December 12th, Mrs. Arguin’s and Mrs. Maunu’s classes will present the holiday show, “An All American Christmas” at 7 PM in the E.M.M.R.  There will be a dress rehearsal at 2 PM.  Both shows are open to the public.  If you attend the dress rehearsal, please make sure to sign in at the office as school will still be in session.  The PTO will hold its December meeting on Wednesday, December 14th at 6 PM.  All PTO meetings are open to whoever wishes to attend them.  The School Board will hold its December meetings on Tuesday, December 6th and Tuesday December 20th at 7 PM at the MRHS Library.

We will end the month celebrating the holidays. Classroom parties will be held on Thursday, December 22nd at 2 PM.  Look for information to come home from your child’s teacher regarding specific class parties.  On Friday, December 23rd, we will have a school wide sing-a-long in the multipurpose room at 2 PM.  School will be closed from December 26th - January 2nd.  We’d like to wish you all a safe and happy Holiday season!
